Paris Paskel
Bio

Paris grew up dog-sitting for her neighbors and family friends and knew she wanted to pursue a career in animal health. Growing up, her only pet was a crawfish named Lily that she got from her 7th grade biology lab. She began to shadow and volunteer in various veterinary settings, including horse stables and small animal practices.

Determined to earn a four-year degree and become a veterinary technician, Paris enrolled at Fort Valley State University (FVSU). During her lecture classes at FVSU, she worked as a veterinary assistant at multiple practices and fell even more in love with veterinary medicine. As part of her final semester at FVSU, Paris is completing a 12-week internship at UGA Veterinary Teaching Hospital, where she works closely with registered veterinary technicians and doctors. She is set to graduate in May 2025 and is eager to embark on her technician career. During her time at UGA, Paris developed a strong interest in anesthesia and emergency/critical care.

In her free time, she enjoys going to the gym, playing video games, and spending time with her cats, Neyteri and Kiri.
