Debbie Caldwell, RVT
Clinical Supervisor

Debbie has always been passionate about animal health, a calling that began on her family’s small farm in Louisiana, where she grew up surrounded by animals. After earning her bachelor’s degree in Animal Health from Louisiana Tech University, she started her career as a veterinary assistant. She later became a registered veterinary technician in Georgia, working for many years in various veterinary practices.
With over 30 years of experience in veterinary medicine, Debbie has worked in both general practice and specialty care, specializing in emergency medicine, critical care, radiology, and nutrition. She is deeply committed to improving the quality of life for pets and their owners.
Debbie is thrilled for her next chapter at Ruby Veterinary Urgent Care, where she looks forward to working with Melissa and Jason to provide exceptional urgent care services to the Atlanta community.
Debbie lives in a suburb of Atlanta with her husband, Elliot, and their dog, Ella, a rescued mix herding dog who is Debbie’s shadow and obsessed with her ball. They enjoy camping, hiking, and of course throwing the ball for Ella!
