ATLANTA, Ga., April 05, 2024 — We’re thrilled to share that Ruby Veterinary Urgent Care is going live! We've been hard at work over the past year putting all the pieces together, and we're excited to launch later this year in Atlanta. Special shout-out to our incredible Chief Medical Officer Melissa Ehrlich who has been an incredible partner in building out our vision.

Ruby Veterinary is building a platform of modern pet hospitals staffed with talented ER-trained doctors that keep pets feeling their best. We are committed to modernizing veterinary care to meet the needs of pets around the country. Pet parents want the best for their pets, and we're here to deliver the uncompromising care for pets in state-of-the-art facilities.

Much like in human medicine, we're bridging the gap between primary and specialty/ER care. Any time your pet is sick, injured, or just not feeling themselves, we're ready to help. We offer same-day and walk-in appointments at a lower cost than the ER. We believe in a feature-rich approach to urgent care with many of the capabilities you'd find in an ER. To that end, our hospitals are equipped with the latest advanced imaging technologies including digital radiography and ultrasound, full in-house labs, full in-house pharmacy, endoscopy, and an end-to-end paperless experience. Finally, each hospital is designed from the ground up to be intuitive, comforting, and inviting for pet parents and our staff alike.

So what's next?

  • We're opening our first hospital in Johns Creek, GA later this year. Johns Creek is just outside Atlanta and a fantastic community that loves pets and the outdoors!

  • Expect to see lots of cool content including renderings, construction photos, and staff photos along the way.

  • Stay tuned for exciting company updates including new experiences and locations.
